Experience in both compliance and technical tax processes , Be up to date with current tax legislation and more importantly experience of SME/OMB Businesses in public practice and manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients. In additon to the above experience you will need to be CTA, ACCA or ATT qualified is preferred. The ROLE :-
  • Managing the tax compliance processes for a portfolio of clients to ensure that tax returns are filed on a timely basis and clients are advised of tax payments
  • Involvement with a range of tax advisory projects including IHT planning, share incentive schemes, business acquisitions and sales
  • Reviewing personal tax returns and computations
  • Reviewing trust tax returns and capital gains tax returns
  • Preparation of more complex tax computations and returns
  • Dealing with tax enquiries
  • Conducting technical research
  • Delegating work to tax team and mentoring trainees
  • Responsible for the commercial delivery of tax work, including fee quotes and monitoring of recoveries
  • Preparation of corporation tax computations for our larger group company clients and more complex standalone company clients
  • Input in to the development of the corporation tax processes and procedures
