HR Administrator

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join this social care and support company. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing administrative tasks, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of HR transactions, and maintaining full compliance with company policies. Experience in healthcare is beneficial. 

Day to day of the role:
  • Maintain and update employee records with high accuracy.
  • Process new starter paperwork, right to work checks, terminations, and employee changes.
  • Ensure the data integrity of all HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Create new accounts and manage access permissions for system users.
  • Provide advice on HRIS functionalities and new features.
  • Support the payroll function and update employee records promptly.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and report them as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and employment references in line with safeguarding guidelines.
  • Liaise with benefit providers for timely and accurate benefits administration.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation and information.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to identify and implement process improvements across the HR function.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated, conscientious, and very well organised.
  • Previous experience in a busy HR Department in a similar role. Experience in healthcare is beneficial. 
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • CIPD qualification is advantageous but not essential.
  • Good IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
