Job Title: Ocean Export Coordinator

Location: Birmingham, WS14 - 9:00 to 17:00 (Flexible for early start)

Salary: 25,000-35,000 DOE

We are a fast-growing logistics company looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Ocean Export Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Role

As an Ocean Export Coordinator, you will manage the end-to-end ocean export process, ensuring shipments are handled smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with international regulations. You will liaise with clients, carriers, and internal teams to deliver a high level of service and operational excellence.

Ocean Export Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ocean export shipments from booking to final delivery.
  • Prepare and process export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely shipments.
  • Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve any shipment issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 2-3 years in an ocean export role (preferred).
  • Knowledgeable: Understanding of export documentation, customs regulations, and shipping processes.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong Communicator: Ability to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams professionally.
