Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a SAP Administrator on a full-time permanent basis

Job Role:
  • Coordinating and executing the staging of materials for production orders and operational tasks using SAP
  • Verifying material availability and issue materials from storage locations to staging areas using SAP transactions
  • Ensuring materials are transferred from warehouse locations to production or assembly lines efficiently
  • Utilising SAP MM/WM modules to perform material movements, reservations, and inventory checks
  • Managing material transfer postings and consumption against production orders
  • Creating and maintaining accurate material documentation within SAP
  • Performing regular stock checks, reconciliations, and cycle counts
  • Monitoring critical inventory levels, alerting procurement and planning teams
  • Working closely with production planners, warehouse staff, and procurement teams
  • Coordinating with procurement to expedite material orders when necessary
  • Communicating with production teams to prioritize material staging based on production schedules

Skills and experience:
  • Experience with SAP MM, SAP WM, or related ERP system for material management and inventory control
  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments is highly preferred
  • Proficient with SAP Material Management or Warehouse Management
  • Basic understanding of production scheduling and demand planning processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing material issues
