Our award-winning Gaming client has an exciting opportunity for a Game Store Author to join their team.
Working on one of their action-adventure games, your role will be focused on setting up in-game content created by the Production, Art and Editorial teams, ready for it to be released to players.
You should be comfortable adding and managing new game content, identifying opportunities and challenges in ensuring players receive great content on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver regular updates to the player community.
- Use Unreal to create and manage game Assets and Catalogues to deliver each update, working with various content types such as 3D artwork, animation, copy, 2D art, cosmetic items and storefronts.
- Assess upcoming planned content and identify upcoming challenges and propose solutions to grow the community.
- Critique and push the quality of game content to players, from the way an individual element looks, to how it's described.
- Collaborate with other teams working on new features and improvements to the community.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience with the Unreal 4 engine.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, possessing strong communication skills.
- A willingness to learn by asking questions and seeking information from people around you.
- Consistency and attention to detail.
This role is PAYE, hybrid role for 18 months.
You will benefit from a 5% end of contract bonus (subject to qualifying), paid annual leave, paid sick, paid bank holidays, pension & notice period.
