People Solutions are hiring an experienced Machine Operative to work at their site based in Tamworth.

Day to Day Duties

Your day-to-day duties as a Machine Operative with our client will be:

• Setting up and running a Reeling Machine/Sheeting Machine based on written instructions via works order sheets
• Identifying faults during set up and fixing of faults relative to the order
• Completing paperwork & inputting accurately on the system
• Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity
• Performing regular quality inspections and correcting quality issues as soon as they arise
• Ensuring available stocks of raw materials to maintain productivity
• Ensuring work area is clean and tidy at all times
• Reporting defective machine parts

Essential Skills

Essential skills needed to be a Machine Operative with our client are:

• Machine operating experience
• Good attention to detail
• Problem solving
• Reporting and KPIs

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• FLT / Crane operating experience

Training

• Full training provided on-site, continued development.
