Role – HSEQ ManagerBased- TamworthThe salary and package - up to £65,000 plus a car allowanceHSE Recruitment are working on a really exciting opportunity with a leading manufacturing and distribution company in Tamworth, to find them a new Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager.This is a unique opportunity to join a successful business who have a desire to not only push forward and improve safety, but they want to be seen as the leader for safety and sustainability excellence and are seeking an ambitious and engaging HSEQ professional to make this happen.There are three key focus areas of this role-
  1. Health and safety is the foundation of the role – The primary responsibility of the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager is to take the lead for the Businesses overall Health and Safety strategy and implementation at the site,
  2. There is a huge project to undertake to improving the Integrated Management System – ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001.
  3. Running environmental and sustainability initiatives and managing environmental reporting.
This is a single, site-based, standalone role which reports into the Operations Director and sits as part of the senior management team. There is a lot of support for safety so although it is standalone there is a culture of accountability when it comes to safety.Person specification:
  • NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum qualification, ideally a Diploma level qualification
  • Strong Manufacturing or warehousing experience.
  • Strong IMS and ISO systems experience across 9001, 14001 and 45001.
  • Experience with environmental reporting and running environmental or sustainability initiatives.
  • Personality wise we need is someone who is hungry, passionate and ready to come in and really push this business forward from where it is. Someone who will take ownership of the function, who will provide direction and always strive to be better.
