We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Field Supervisor to join our team at Executive Carers. This role is field-based and involves providing comprehensive training in manual handling, medication administration, and basic care skills to our staff. You will also oversee the team of Field Supervisors. Along with a salary from £25,000 per year, you will also receive mileage compensation, opportunities for professional development and career advancement, a work laptop and a mobile phone. As Field Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting hands-on training sessions in manual handling techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of both carers and clients.
  • Providing detailed instruction on medication administration, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Teaching basic skills, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic cooking skills, to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.
  • Assessing the training needs of staff and develop tailored training programs to address these needs.
  • Supporting and mentoring Care Professionals
  • Working closely with the office team to ensure all new professionals are fully supported in their first 3 months of employment
  • Identifying and agreeing additional training or development needed to build competence and confidence of Care Professionals
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with potential and existing clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care
  • Facilitating introductions between new carers and clients, providing comprehensive training on the practical aspects of delivery
  • Monitoring client satisfaction, escalating concerns, and producing monthly reports
  • Identifying and communicating upcoming staffing gaps, engaging in recruitment, and introducing new hires to clients
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry standards and practices to ensure training content is current and relevant.
  • Providing cover for the on-call Phone on a rota basis.
We’re looking for a Field Supervisor with:
  • Proven experience in a similar training role, preferably within the healthcare or caregiving sector.
  • Strong understanding of manual handling techniques, medication administration, and basic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate trainees.
  • Ability to work independently and manage training schedules effectively.
  • Certification in manual handling and medication administration training is highly desirable.
  • A driving license and access to your own car.
