Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on HGVs

     

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform necessary repairs

     

  • Perform MOT preparation and safety checks

     

  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used

     

  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest industry standards

     

  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures

     

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic

     

  • Strong knowledge of HGV systems and diagnostic equipment

     

  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)

     

  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential)

     

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
