About the Role
A reputable company in Tamworth is currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team on a day shift basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading employer in the commercial vehicle industry, offering a competitive salary and excellent career development prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on HGVs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform necessary repairs
- Perform MOT preparation and safety checks
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest industry standards
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of HGV systems and diagnostic equipment
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of work
