Day to Day Duties

Your day-to-day duties as an Inventory Controller would be:

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained with checking downgrades and shortages from the nightly pick
  • Collaborate with other departments to help maintain a good on time in full performance
  • To ensure effective, safe and timely receipt of goods and effectively dealing with non-conforming product
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are adhered to, across all functions
  • Investigate where required any non-conformances to the standard operating procedures, and apply coaching and/or intervention where required
  • Respond to direct queries in a timely and professional manner, always aiming to provide solutions where possible
  • Responsible to maintain a clean, organised and safe environment throughout the warehouse

Essential Skills

The skills needed to be an Inventory Controller with our client are:

  • Good level of English
  • Previous inventory experience
  • The ability to work in a team or alone
  • Ability to achieve good KPIs
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach to work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Meeting deadlines as required as weekly tasks are set
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and proficiency in MS Office and Excel to produce count sheets and pivots of handover reports

  • Working within a similar environment

  • Training is provided, with ongoing support
