Temp Station are excited to announce we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the team as a travelling logistics coordinator working initially out of our Transport yard based in Tamworth (B77). Helping to manage both our trucks and drivers and providing excellent service to all of our clients nationally.

This is a travelling position therefore the candidate must be willing to travel between our offices nationally (Normanton, Essex, Manchester) however base location will be at our Tamworth yard.

Must have strong logistical knowledge preferably from previous logistical experience and a good knowledge of recruitment and driver management.

CPC/O' Licence Accreditation would be advantageous however not essential

Key Skills for this role:

-Logistical Experience

-Logistical planning & Plan management

-Management of drivers

-Fleet checks & Fleet Management

The role:

-General yard duties including yard & truck maintenance

-Debrief drivers with job details

-Data inputting onto the customers system

-Daily use of our internal systems for payroll

-Collating documentation for new drivers to ensure we are legally compliant

-CV Searching and recruitment followed by in person interviews

-Keeping up to date with DVLA checks for all drivers

-Digi Tachograph downloads for both drivers & vehicles

-Maintain Sub Contractor relationships and communicate effectively

-Adhere to all legal requirements and company site safety rules and regulations.

Preferred Educational Background:

- Maths and English

-Technical Skills

-Good working knowledge of Microsoft office/Excel

-Good communication and customer service skills

-Some experience from a similar environment preferred.

-Working knowledge of UK Road Network and Geographical areas is an advantage but not essential

-Ability to work under pressure and cope with high volume workloads and different times .

-Good team player with ability to work on individual tasks
