We are looking for a multi skilled maintenance engineer to join our team of 17 engineers at our manufacturing site in Tamworth. We are a globally recognised manufacturer within the heavy industry and annually turnover more than £300m.

We are commissioning a brand-new site with £30m with of new machinery and the successful engineer will be involved in installation and commissioning of the new plant and machinery allowing you to familiarise yourself with the new plant from day 1.

The plant will be fully automated within a heavy industry environment with brand new kilns, extruders, conveyors, Fanuc robots etc.

The successful maintenance engineer will be multi skilled with either a mechanical or electrical bias. Engineers from all kinds of backgrounds are encouraged to apply, qualifications are beneficial but not deal breaking for this role.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as an industrial multi skilled maintenance engineer
  • Some form of electrical qualification is ESSENTIAL.
  • Multi skilled element to your work either 60:40 electrical or mechanical bias
  • PLC fault finding experience will be beneficial.
  • Fanuc robotics experience will be beneficial.
  • An ability to fabricate and weld would be beneficial.
