MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - MECHANICAL BIAS

We are looking for a motivated maintenance engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company in the UK. You will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. Role Description

  • Respond to machinery and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance, ensuring that machinery is serviced, maintained and safe to use.
  • Promoting continuous improvement through regular review of machinery, systems, and processes
  • Installation of new equipment and project-based work as and when required.
  • Minimising downtime, ensuring production are updated on progress.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Skills and Qualifications

  • City & Guilds level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
