Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team in Tamworth. In this role, you will assess, treat, and discharge a diverse range of inpatients while collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and effectively communicating with patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for inpatients.
  • Facilitate effective discharge planning, including discussions with families.
  • Collaborate with the MDT to ensure cohesive patient care and manage challenging conversations with professionalism.

Key Requirements:

  • Hold a BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy and full HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, treat, and discharge a variety of inpatients.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be available for on-site work; remote working is not permitted.
