We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join a supportive team at a well-regarded primary school in Tamworth. This is a part-time maternity cover teaching Year 5, starting in December 2023 and running until the end of the academic year in July 2025.

Key Responsibilities as a Part Time Teacher:

  • Part time role - 3 days per week
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 5 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all students.
  • Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in primary schools, ideally with Key Stage 2 experience.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A commitment to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a primary school setting
