My client is looking for an experienced QA Technician to join their successful business in Tamworth. You will be part of the Quality team, supporting with any quality & technical matters with management of customer compliance systems, ensuring product & raw ingredient specifications are approved.

Description

  • Support the Quality Managers role.
  • Management of customer compliance requirements and systems.
  • Support of Supplier Approval and Assurance.
  • Approval of all own brand specifications and artwork, liaising with printers and ingredient/packaging suppliers against current legal requirements.
  • Completion and submission of all customers due diligence documentation.
  • Overseeing the use and data from nutritional calculation software, nutritional.
  • Completion of waste data information with third parties.
  • Management of product recipes on internal process control systems.
  • Assist in preparations for third party audits and BRCGS certification.
  • Member of the TACCP / VACCP & TACCP team.
  • Keeping up to date with horizon scanning activities by monitoring worldwide potential threats to food safety.

Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 - 37.5 Hours

Profile

You will ideally be an experienced Quality Assurance Technician with food manufacturing experience, as well as:

  • A recognised qualification (Ideally, Food Science)
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team working abilities.
  • Proficiency in using quality control software and other relevant tools.
