The Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Process Cooling Service Engineer to join a well-established engineering company based in the Midlands. As a Process Cooling Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and commissioning services for process cooling systems in various industrial environments. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills will contribute to the efficient and reliable operation of cooling equipment. This position requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Formal engineering qualification.

  • Current driving licence without disqualification, and UK/EU Passport.

  • Health & Safety qualification or experience.

  • Proven experience as a Process Cooling Service Engineer, specializing in breakdowns, commissioning, fault finding, repair, and maintenance of process cooling systems.

  • Strong knowledge of process cooling systems, including refrigeration principles, electrical and mechanical components, and control systems.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

  • Thorough understanding of pump data plates along with valves, heat exchangers, free coolers, adiabatic coolers and associated controls.

  • Willingness to travel extensively and work in various industrial settings as required.
