As the Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in maximising value, optimising benefits, and enhancing efficiency in indirect procurement across the Region and the Group. Working closely with the team, you will ensure that key internal stakeholders are not just satisfied but delighted by consistently delivering on expectations related to cost, quality, service, and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Manage all tender renewal processes for indirect procurement, including liaising with key suppliers and ensuring deadlines are met.Build strong relationships with suppliers cross-functionally to ensure maximum efficiency and cost savings.Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure governance and process awareness.Be the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers for Indirect Procurement in the UK.Ensure effective implementation and compliance with new procurement processes and systems.Analyse supplier performance and ensure that the best price and service are achieved.Establish clear communication channels with key stakeholders through regular business review meetings.

Skills and Experience

Significant experience in procurement with a focus on Indirect Procurement.Degree or CIPPS certification is desirable.Strong stakeholder management skills.Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams across the organisation.Experience working in a matrix organisation.
