We are looking for a motivated Quality Manager to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. An exciting opportunity for a skilled Quality Manager to join a well-established company and engineering team. As Manager you will be tasked with the running and continuous improvement of the Quality Department. This role will appeal to an autonomous individual with a comprehensive idea of how to run a successful Quality department within a pressurised environment. This position will appeal to a strong manager looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement quality policies and procedures to maintain high standards.
- Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives, setting product quality targets and operational needs to enable the company to function effectively.
- Establish long term quality improvement plans, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements to integrate best practices into the quality management system.
- Ensure compliance with the relevant regulations, standards and certifications (ISO9001, 14001,45001)
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques and six sigma methodologies to optimize quality, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce costs related to defects and inefficiencies.
What You Will Need
- NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma
- A demonstrable and proven track record in the use of Quality tools; such as 8D, FEMEA, Ishikawa, Root cause, Kaizen/Six Sigma & 5Y associated Quality tools.
- A knowledgeable understanding of ISO 9001 & adherence to additional standards, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
- Experience of SAP, SharePoint, excel
