I'm currently working on an exciting Quality Manager position for an established Market Leading Manufacturing company in the West Midlands. The business supply and distribute their product Worldwide, and they are now looking for a Quality Manager to develop thei Quality processes and to take them to the next level.

Role Description

  • Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation
  • Specifically implement and maintain the Quality Standard ISO9001 in order to comply with Corporate and customer requirements.
  • Introduce and implement internal strategic quality systems and procedures in order to ensure continuous quality improvements and meet customer requirements.
  • Continually analyse customer, corporate and internal metrics, using statistical techniques to identify key concerns and trends, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that problem resolution tools, such as 8D, Fishbone Diagrams and Brainstorming, are used to identify sustainable solutions to quality concerns.
  • Continually analyse customer, corporate and internal metrics, using statistical techniques to identify key concerns and trends, ensuring continuous improvement.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree or similar qualification (or qualified by experience)
  • Minimum 3 years in the Manufacturing
  • A proven track record in managing a team successfully
  • Minimum 5 years in quality related activities in a development and/or production environment
  • Application of QMS tools and techniques
  • APQP, FMEA, Inspection planning, SPC, DOE, QFD, 6 Sigma
