Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing

West Midlands - With Some East Midlands Travel

Up to £50,000 + Car / Allowance

TS Recruitment are working with a Property Services / Social Housing Contractor who are now recruiting a permanent QS based in the Midlands.

You will have previous QS experience coming from a Property Services / Social Housing Contractor or SME and a background in; Reactive / Planned Maintenance experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial aspects of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that projects meet their requirements.
  • Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Manage project teams, including contractors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity / Senior Surveyor, with a track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience working within social housing on planned refurbishment / painting and decorating projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
