This would be an excellent opportunity to join a leading recycling business with a presence in four continents. As such, they are keen to make a long-term investment into new staff members who are looking to secure a career in the metallics industry.Main responsbilities for our Metal Recycling Operative role include:- Operating machinery (such as plasma cutters and bandsaws) to break down automotive components- Strip parts down with use of hand tools- Sorting parts into seperate categories by hand- Use of Forklift truck to move the granulated productsaround the shop floor- Working in a sampler station to help identify the concentration of precious metals in each component (e.g. platinum/radium)Although you will likely be assigned a core area, it would be the company's vision to offer cross-training in multiple areas to maximise your knowledge.
