Position: Permanent, Full Time
An exciting opportunity has landed on my desk for a Finance Assistant to join a leading manufacturing business based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a growing team to offer support to Financial Controller and to gain more experience within a variety of areas.
Main responsibilities include:
- Invoice processing, matching, and resolving queries.
- Maintain customer database and resolving any issues/discrepancies.
- Chasing aged debts/overdue accounts
- Bank and Statement bank reconciliations.
- Matching delivery notes to Purchase Order notes.
- Maintaining internal database to ensure accurate budgeting/forecasting to support decision making.
- Posting and reconciling bank transaction receipts/payments/sweeps.
- Working on site but able to support Transactional processes elsewhere through ERP system.
- Supporting other finance roles covering holiday periods.
- Other ad hoc duties
Ideal Candidate:
- Over 3 years' experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role
- Manufacturing sector experience
- Ambition to learn and develop.
- Actively studying towards a financial qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA)
- ERP experience is advantageous but not essential.
This position is for candidates who have full right to work in the UK and who can work on site 5 days per week.
