Support Worker - Tamworth - 11.44 per hour

Brookes are excited to announce we are working with a Brand New Supported Living Service Based in Fazeley, Tamworth

As such, we are looking for experienced Support Workers to join the New Opening team for both day and night cover - this is a fantastic opportunity to join a team from the very beginning and truly make a difference in the life of Vulnerable Adults with Complex Needs

The Role:

  • Assisting with providing a needs-led service in keeping with the aims and objectives of the service.
  • Participating and assisting with defined care plans encouraging individuals to take an active role in all aspects of daily living.
  • Attending training on topics which relates to behaviour support and autism spectrum conditions (ASC).
  • Work flexible hours as required by the organisation including weekend, Bank Holidays, sleep-in and night duty as required.
  • Cover staffing shortfalls and special events such as holidays.
  • Assist in reviewing service users and their behaviours, taking on the role of key worker to either individual or group of Service Users.
  • Undertake other duties from time to time as required by the Manager of the Service
  • Maintain customer confidentiality in accordance with our data protection policy and procedure.
  • Maintain an awareness of own developmental needs and undertake training as necessary.
