Salary:
- 17 per hour (Class 1 - Wagon and Drag)
- 15 per hour (Class 2)
Location: Tamworth
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a professional and experienced HGV driver to join our team in Tamworth. This is a split role where you will spend 50% of your time driving Class 1 (wagon and drag) vehicles and the other 50% driving Class 2 vehicles.
Key details of the role:
- Competitive hourly rates: 17/hour for Class 1 and 15/hour for Class 2.
- Expected to complete 1-2 drops per day, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Minimal handballing - stock is unloaded using machinery.
- Overtime is not expected to be frequent.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience driving wagon and drag vehicles.
- Valid HGV Class 1 and Class 2 licences with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of transport and driving regulations.
- Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
