Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing operational efficiency and reliability of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires a solid foundation in electrical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance, inspections and repairs on machinery, equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical & Plc control issues to determine appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with the production team to address urgent maintenance requirements and minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work done, parts used, and time spent.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times.
Duties of a Maintenance Technician:

Requirements of a Maintenance Technician
- Electrical qualifications to a City & Guilds or NVQ standard.
- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship programme.
- Proven experience electrical maintenance within a Heavy Engineering, Process, Production or Manufacturing Environment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Effective communication skills to report maintenance updates.
