Linkster is seeking MIG Mild Steel Welder / Fabricator to join our Tamworth-based Client. This role involves producing light and medium-weight MIG-welded assemblies, primarily for regular repeat orders. Some assemblies are fixture-held or jigged and require preparation, welding, and cleaning to meet customer standards.

Key Responsibilities - MIG Welder
- Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG welding on mild steel assemblies, adhering to customer standards for quality and precision.
- Assembly Drawings: Interpret and work from assembly drawings accurately.
- Production Work: Handle regular, repeat production runs of approximately 20-50 assemblies per order.
- Quality Standards: Follow established manufacturing processes and ensure a consistent, repeatable standard of quality.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members while being capable of working independently.
Key Requirements - MIG Welder
- Experience: Previous experience in metal fabrication and MIG welding is essential (minimum 1 year)
- Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and understand assembly drawings.
- Reliability & Teamwork: A positive attitude, dependability, and a willingness to contribute to team success.
- Attention to Detail: Follow instructions and processes to maintain consistent quality.
- Long-Term Commitment: Seeking candidates interested in a long-term role within an established team.
Training and guidance on specific products will be provided during the 13-week probation period to ensure all quality standards are met.
