Mon – Thursday 7am – 4pm

Friday 7am – 12pm

Winner Recruitments are currently working with a great company who are looking to recruit for a TIG Welder to work on aluminium and steel small components such as brackets. The right candidate would be experienced and be coded, or ex coded.

Role:

  • Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
  • Prepare materials for welding, including cutting metal components to appropriate size/shape.
  • Perform welding activities using the TIG welding process.
  • Maintain welding equipment and troubleshoot any malfunctions.
  • Using a grinder to smooth/clean material ready for quality inspection.
  • Inspect work, fill and repair as necessary.
  • Assembly components parts using appropriate hand/small power tools.

Candidate:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Coded or ex coded welder
