This is a great opportunity to join a successful, growing frozen food manufacturer supplying retailers, foodservice wholesalers and cash and carries. Suncream Dairies Ltd are a family-owned ice cream manufacturer based in Tamworth, who are a significant producer of both luxury and affordable ice creams.
The company is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Forklift Driver who holds a Reach licence and Counter balance to join the team.
What will your main activities be?
- Operating a reach truck to load and unload pallets accurately into the racking.
- Picking customer orders, including case picking and pallet picking.
Working with the WMS system in the Coldstore, ensuring that all data and records are maintained accurately as required.
Stock rotation
Keep in clear communication with all areas of the business that rely on the picking function
Maintain traceability of product throughout the whole warehouse process
Ensure that product quality, production and customer presentation or specifications are met.
Ensure basic food hygiene rules are obeyed at all times, maintaining good standards of general housekeeping ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Maintain a safe working environment and follow safe working practises in accordance with company procedures and Health and Safety responsibilities.
What will you bring?
- Experience of working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and in dealing with incoming goods and associated paperwork
- Current accredited FLT licence.
- Good group working spirit.
- Basic computer user experience will be required.
- An ability to stay focused and prioritise in a high pressure/fast environment
