Academics are currently looking to recruit a knowledgeable and experienced Teacher of Physics for an Ofsted rated school of 'Good' in Cheshire. The role is full-time, commences after the February half-term break, and work will be guaranteed until the end of the academic year (July 2025).
Our partnership school is at the heart of rural Cheshire, and it is known to have a wholehearted, welcoming and purposeful atmosphere. This school also has excellent links to the A49 and A51 so is easily commutable from areas in both the Cheshire East & West.
For this particular long-term opportunity, you will:
- Hold the relevant Science qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons), with a Physics specialism and UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
- Be a confident communicator; along with excellent behaviour management, and can build good rapport with students and fellow staff.
- Deliver exciting and engaging Physics lessons using your own initiative and have a good knowledge of the national curriculum.
- A strong track record of creatively developing curriculum content and ensuring positive results with all students.
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
Please be aware that your long-term day rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, and the client rate that is currently available.
