Are you a mechanical fitter or technician, looking to join a highly skilled team of engineers and craftspeople with a market leading company in a fantastic rural location, which will offer 1:1 training and development and excellent work / life balance?

Do you have experience in Mechanical Engineering and a basic understanding of electronics, looking to step into a varied and diverse role which will see you working with multiple materials such as metal, fibreglass, wood and leather, for a highly reputable and truly unique manufacturer of equestrian simulators, which will recognise and reward your skills and expertise?

This company are a specialist manufacturer of Racehorse Simulators for the international Equestrian industry engineering. These unique Simulators require multiple skill sets to complete and take 5-6 weeks to manufacture. The company design, fabricate, build, service and modify these horseracing simulators and are the market leaders in their niche sector.

They offer training and further development of your skills as part of an experienced team of master craftspeople with skills in Electronics, Leatherwork, Pneumatics, Welding, Sewing, Mechanical Engineering and Painting. You will use your skills to keep the workshop floor flowing, with the opportunity for further hands-on training in this unique market sector.

On offer is the opportunity to join this market leading business with no true international rival. The Role:

  • Mechanical assembly of equestrian simulators from start to finish, this will combine electrical motors, drives, sensors and software
  • Electronic / Electrical wiring
  • Work with multiple materials such as metal, fibreglass, wood and leather
  • Manage ongoing assembly projects

The Person:

  • Mechanical Fitter, Technician or similar from either manufacturing, automotive or related field
  • Ideally some background in Electrical / Electronics
