Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative Art lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire and motivate students to explore their creativity and artistic abilities.
  • Prepare students for GCSE Art exams, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages self-expression.
  • Assess and track student progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in Art education and incorporate new ideas and techniques into lessons.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Art to secondary school students.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Art education.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS (can be processed through Reed).
