The Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in quoting machined components across various manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on Milling, Turning, and Sliding Head Lathes.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day purchasing – Raising purchase orders to ensure materials and subcontracted processes arrive just in time (JIT) to support production schedules.
- Supply chain management – Building and strengthening supplier relationships to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- On-time delivery (OTD) assurance – Ensuring the timely receipt of materials to meet customer deadlines for finished products.
- Cost efficiency & value-driven purchasing – Consolidating the supply chain where possible to drive a best-value culture and reduce costs.
