Head Chef ~ Straight Shifts Evenings Off ~ Restaurant/Cafe/Bar/Deli ~ Taunton ~ £36,000 NEG
Experienced Head Chef required to lead a team of approximately 5 chefs. You will work straight shifts full-time up to 45 hours per week over 5 days (daytime only (evenings off)). Our client is looking for a creative professional Chef who has a passion for food and service, you will have flair, be self-motivated and really love producing quality dishes from excellent locally sourced ingredients.
You will be able to develop and lead a small team of 4, setting and maintaining the highest standards in all areas (preparation, presentation, cleanliness, record keeping, tidiness and organisation). The successful applicant will have experience of responsibility in a busy, fast-paced kitchen, have excellent skills with a variety of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment. You should have the ability to maintain calm and efficiency under pressure, have high standards relating to food production, presentation and service with imagination and attention to detail. You will be self-disciplined, organised, reliable, patient, flexible and have genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and catering.

Hours of work: The post will be over straight shifts, 5 days a week Circa £36,000 according to experience. Holiday: 28 days per annum, including Bank Holidays. This position could be available for immediate start (TBD), please apply with your full CV.
