Senior Structural Technician / Structural CAD Technician. A Worle, Weston super Mare, Bristol structural engineering design firm are looking to recruit a Senior Structural Technician / Structural CAD Technician to join the team.
The Senior Structural Technician / Structural CAD Technician will work on commercial, residential and public sector projects.

The Senior Structural Technician / Structural CAD Technician is a full time, permanent position for a Senior Structural Technician who could progress to CAD Manager / Drawing Office Manager / Associate Director in the future.
The role involves liaising with the Associate Director and Director in managing a team of both senior and junior technicians also.

The Senior Structural Technician / Structural CAD Technician involves day to day tasks such as detailing and drafting reinforced concrete structures, creating structural drawings, collaborating with engineers and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards

The Senior Structural Technician / Structural CAD Technician will need:

• Proficiency in RC detailing and structural drafting

• Experience in creating structural drawings
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and contractors
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy

The Senior Structural Technician / Structural CAD Technician required skills:
AutoCAD RC Detailing CADS RC

• 3+ years of work experience with AutoCAD
• 3+ years of work experience with RC detailing
• 1+ years of work experience with CADS RC

The Senior Structural Technician / Structural CAD Technician salary is 35-40k
This will be a flexible Hybrid role working 2 days in in the Weston-super-Mare office.
