I am recruiting for a Project Coordinator in Taunton. This role is for an initial three months and will be offered on either a fixed term contract basis or a temporary assignment. 

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (1-hour lunch break)
  • Friday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch break)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in accessing apartments for Legionnaires' compliance, ensuring landlord responsibilities are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage access to apartments for Legionnaires' compliance.
  • Confidently liaise with contractors and tenants to schedule and oversee remedial works.
  • Source and engage contractors to complete necessary work, ensuring all documentation is in order.
  • Obtain and evaluate quotes from contractors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Maintain and update project details using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Work collaboratively within the office environment, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with contractors and tenants.
  • Proficiency in using Excel for project tracking and management.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
