Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Data Engineer to join an innovative public sector client, working on exciting projects across social care, revenue and benefits, and more. This role offers the flexibility of fully remote or hybrid working, depending on your preference.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity, and implementing medallion architectures within Microsoft Fabric. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective data solutions, while also optimizing data processes and supporting a range of reporting and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to support reporting and analytics
  • Implement and optimize medallion architectures within Microsoft Fabric
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements
  • Troubleshoot and monitor data pipelines for seamless operation
  • Provide technical expertise in data management and ensure ethical data practices
  • Document data processes to facilitate knowledge sharing across teams

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric and medallion architecture
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and ETL processes
  • Experience with data integration tools and data modelling
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics F&O for reporting solutions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders
