Assistant Ecologist

Taunton

We are looking for an Assistant Ecologist to join a medium sized, ecological and environmental company in Taunton. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to advance their career in ecology while contributing to impactful projects across the South West. The first few months you will be required to go into the office for training, however then you will have the option to work from home.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced ecologists, supporting a variety of projects from initial surveys through to reporting. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional development and the chance to work on diverse projects in a supportive and collaborative environment.

For this Assistant Ecologist role, you will ideally have;

  • A degree in Ecology, or a related field,
  • Experience in conducting ecological surveys,
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Proficiency in using ecological survey equipment and software is advantageous,
