Geo-Environmental Technician

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate with a background in geotechnical, geo-environmental, earth science and/or ground investigation to join a South West based team on a range of projects. You'll be provided with the opportunity to work closely with the team and step into the ground investigation industry, developing skills and kickstarting your career.

This Geo-Environmental Technician role is offers:

The successful Geo-Environmental Technician will be:

  • Taking soil samples for assessment.
  • Groundwater and gas monitoring.
  • Carrying out contamination analysis and soakaway testing.
  • Carrying out groundwork and assisting geotechnical engineers on projects.
  • Working outdoors in all conditions, with lifting and heavy duty conditions to acknowledge.

To be considered for this Geo-Environmental Technician role you should hold a full UK driving licence (as travelling to sites will be frequent), be commutable or living in the Taunton area, have a degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, earth sciences or a similar relevant subject, have a full right to work in the UK and be willing to work in all demanding conditions.
