Manufacturing Operative - Central Taunton - Temporary to Permanent

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Manufacturing Operatives to work for their client who are based in the centre of Taunton.

Job details:

* The environment you will be working in is at room temperature. Day to day you will be sat down at a workstation performing detailed stitching, splicing, gluing and general needle work to create the products to the required standards.

* You will assist with the manufacturing of the products, which will consist of machine minding and keeping records of the products being produced. This will involve working with small items so you will need to have good eyesight.

* The work will suit someone who has good manual dexterity and can use their hands in a skilful, coordinated way.

Hours of work:

* 40 hours a week Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern

* Week 1, 5:45am to 1:45pm

* Week 2, 2pm to 10pm

You will receive 50 minutes for breaks each day which are all paid.

Pay:

* The hourly rate of pay is £12.44 an hour

* There are enhanced rates for working overtime

* There is also a bonus scheme in place which you can earn up to an extra £50.00 a week
