Role Overview:As an Audit Manager, you will take on a key role in managing audit assignments, leading a team, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to clients. You will have responsibility for overseeing audits from planning through to completion stage, ensuring compliance with both regulatory and internal standards are met. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of audit services
  • Leading audits from planning to completion, including overseeing the audit team and delegating work
  • Reviewing financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing advice and addressing client queries
  • Supervising, training, and mentoring junior staff members
  • Monitoring compliance with the firm's policies and procedures
  • Liaising with the partners to discuss audit progress and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Identifying opportunities for business development and new service offerings
  • Managing the preparation and presentation of management letters and reports

Required Skills & Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in audit management or senior auditing roles within an accountancy practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and audit regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Experience in managing and developing teams
  • Knowledge of accounting software and audit tools
