Job Description:
Finance Business Partnering teamWe are looking for someone to support us with developing our forecasting and reporting for the Dedicated Schools Grant High Needs Block, focusing on the Deficit Management Plan (DMP).
You will be expected to develop modelling around future demand for children with Education Health and Care Plans, specifically modelling detailed mitigations as set out in our Deficit Management Plan.
The post will be working closely with the Childrens service, and our business intelligence teams to develop these models, along with interrogating Power BI and data from systems such as Capita.
You will need to be a self-starter, comfortable challenging and supporting senior staff in finance and the service and be able to understand and interpret data. We would welcome applicants who are fully CCAB qualified, and it is desirable that you have a background in Children's Services and/or have worked within a Local Authority environment.
