Join Our Client's Team as a Part-Time Finance Manager!
Location: Taunton, SomersetContract: Permanent, part-time, up to 30 hours per week (flexibility how these are worked)Salary: Circa £50,000 pro rata

Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and variances.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accounting standards.
- Lead the finance team in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient financial management.
- Conduct regular audits of financial processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare management information, including budgets and cashflows.
What they're looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- ACCA/ACA qualification or substantial experience.
- Knowledge of Sage 50 payroll.
- Experience in preparing ad hoc financial reports.
- Working knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and NIC.
- Accurate, methodical, and attention to detail.
