- Plan and deliver structured learning experiences tailored to learner needs, promoting skill development and workplace application.
- Motivate and inspire learners through interactive teaching methods, fostering positive learning environments.
- Conduct fair and constructive assessments, providing detailed feedback to support learner progression.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and intervene when necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Support independent learning through digital resources and structured guidance.
- Provide effective information, advice, and guidance to learners, employers, and stakeholders throughout the learner journey.
- Promote health, safety, safeguarding, and Prevent awareness within the learning environment.
- Embed equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) principles and British values into training delivery.
- Deliver Functional Skills qualifications in English and maths up to Level 2, ensuring learners effectively apply these skills in the workplace.
- Work closely with the Learning Support Coach team to accommodate learners with additional needs.
- Engage with employers to enhance on-the-job training and learner development.
- Contribute to quality improvement activities, such as self-assessment and internal verification processes.
- Keep up to date with sector and educational developments, engaging in continuous professional development.
- Experience delivering training and learner support.
- Relevant occupational experience in Butchery, Bakery, or Fishmongering.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Good standard of English, maths, and ICT (or equivalent qualifications).
- Teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one.
- Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards).
- Understanding of Government-funded training programmes.
- Strong communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Strong motivational and support skills for learners.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
- Flexibility to stay overnight for work-related commitments when required.
