Nothing But Healthcareare currently recruiting for Senior Healthcare Assistants with medication administration experience and training to work in multiple locations on behalf of our care home client across Somerset. We have days, nights and weekends available.

Job Type:Temporary/Contract

Salary:

  • PAYE:
    • 13.00 per hour (Monday to Friday)
    • 13.50 per hour (Saturday/Nights/Sunday)
    • 14.00 per hour (Bank Holidays)
  • Umbrella:
    • 15.00 per hour (Monday to Friday)
    • 15.80 per hour (Nights/Saturday/Sunday)
    • 18 per hour (Bank Holidays)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with medication, daily personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Support mobility, including moving and handling residents safely.
  • Monitor and record vital signs as necessary.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
  • Follow care plans and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Report any changes in residents' health or well-being to senior staff.
  • Ensure the dignity and respect of all residents are maintained at all times.

Requirements:

  • Training:Must have completed face-to-face training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Moving and Handling. -We can provide training
  • Experience in a similar role is required (References required)
  • You must have medication administration experience and training.
  • Enhanced DBS ideally on the update service or we can apply for a new DBS.
  • A caring and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights.
