I am delighted to be working with a multinational manufacturing business who are looking to hire an HR Manager for their Somerset site. Reporting into the HR Director EMEA and with a dotted line into the UK Site Director this role will be stand-alone supporting a headcount of 60 at this site and a further c.40 within sales and marketing based across Scandinavia.This is a great time to join the organisation as they are looking to grow, revolutionise HR and empower their people to contribute to overall business objectives. As the main point of contact for all HR advice and guidance, the position has broad HR generalist responsibilities including:

* Being the first point of contact for all HR advice and guidance* End to end recruitment and onboarding* HR administration across the entire employee life cycle* Employee relations including disciplinary and grievance* Performance management* Training and development* HR data and reports for senior leadership teams including complianceTo be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a solid work history of operating as a hands-on HR generalist within a fast-paced environment. Site HR experience is highly desirable, this could be within a manufacturing, FMCG, supply chain, engineering or similar blue & white collar workforce.You will be confident in dealing with HR Advice and guidance, employee relations, recruitment, training as well as having the ability to produce HR reports, analyse data and provide feedback to management.You will be a self-starter who shows initiative, can build effective relationships across the business as well as having the confidence to challenge and influence when required. You will be happy being the go-to person for all HR advice and guidance as well as supporting with ad hoc tasks as and when required.This is an ideal position for an HR Advisor looking for their next career move or an established HR Manager looking to add value make a difference and drive positive behaviours across HR. While any International experience would be ideal, it won't be a deciding factor.This organisation is easily accessible from the M5 with parking on site. Given the nature of the industry and employee base it's likely you will be needed to attend the site 4 or 5 days per week.
