HR Officer - ER
Taunton/Hybrid

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a HR Officer withing Employee Relations based in Taunton. Our client offers hybrid working for this full time contract.

The job:

  • Manage a caseload around all employee relations aspects of HR.
  • Support managers in meetings surrounding performance review, absence, termination, investigation, disciplinary and recruitment
  • Support senior HR staff as well as management in conducting employee relations consultation and training.
  • Provide advice, support and guidance to managers across the client base on a wide range of ER and HR matters.
  • Undertake HR and OD policy and project work as and when required.

The candidate:

  • Relevant degree/ professional qualification or experience
  • Proven experience in an Employee Relations operational HR role within a large organisation with a diverse workforce. Proven experience in managing and advising on complex cases, and supporting at Hearings and Appeals as required.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and recognised best HR practice.
  • Be able to effectively communicate on complex issues at all levels in an appropriate and concise manner, both orally and in writing.
