Coomber Security Systems are a Family owned and run Business based near the M5 in Taunton. We offer a range of fire and security solutions for commercial, industrial and residential customers in Somerset and the surrounding areas.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our small, friendly office team based on Blackbrook Business Park. The Administrator role is a busy role with responsibility for managing some of our Key Customers and ensuring services and call outs are attended to and keeping the customer fully up to date. This involves updating spreadsheets and invoicing as required using our industry bespoke software. You will also liaise between Managers, Engineers and customers to book services in and working with Managers to update service lists for the company. Most of this is done using our software and excel spreadsheets. You will be taking incoming calls and passing any new enquiries, queries or faults to the relevant department, making sure you have . These are the key elements of the Administrator role but there are also many ad hoc admin duties completed as and when necessary.


This Administrator role would suit someone with an Admin background, someone who is comfortable using spreadsheets and communicating at all levels either by phone or email. You would need to be organised in your approach and comfortable collating information for Customers and taking responsibility for this being passed back in a professional, timely and efficient manner. You would manage your own time and workload with the support of the Office Manager available at all times.

This role will suit someone who has a logical and can do approach along with a professional telephone manner, good IT skills and a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided on our in house systems. There is a company pension scheme, free parking and attendance bonus paid yearly. Hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm, with 30 mins for lunch.
