Legal Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with our Conveyancers to manage client enquiries, draft relevant documents, and ensure compliance for smooth property transactions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for enquiries, delivering excellent customer service to new and existing clients
  • Conduct initial matter set-up procedures, including producing instruction confirmation letters, updating central records, and entering entities and capacities on new client/matter files
  • Provide efficient and effective support to the Conveyancers
  • Ensure adherence to all appropriate quality service and compliance requirements
  • Collate and complete due diligence in compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations where required
  • Handle routine client telephone enquiries, ensuring all necessary information and details are obtained to meet file opening requirements
Legal Assistant Requirements:
  • Prior experience in an administrative role (property transaction experience is ideal but not essential)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Commitment to working within a quality standard environment
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new systems
  • Excellent teamwork skills and collaborative mindset
  • Availability to work daily in the Taunton office
