Legal Assistant Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with our Conveyancers to manage client enquiries, draft relevant documents, and ensure compliance for smooth property transactions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for enquiries, delivering excellent customer service to new and existing clients
- Conduct initial matter set-up procedures, including producing instruction confirmation letters, updating central records, and entering entities and capacities on new client/matter files
- Provide efficient and effective support to the Conveyancers
- Ensure adherence to all appropriate quality service and compliance requirements
- Collate and complete due diligence in compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations where required
- Handle routine client telephone enquiries, ensuring all necessary information and details are obtained to meet file opening requirements
- Prior experience in an administrative role (property transaction experience is ideal but not essential)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Commitment to working within a quality standard environment
- Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new systems
- Excellent teamwork skills and collaborative mindset
- Availability to work daily in the Taunton office
