Job Title: Paralegal - Residential

Location: Taunton, Somerset

Salary & Benefits: Circa £30,000 PA

21 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays, Private medical cover (after completion of probation), Company Pension, Sick Pay, Wellness Programmes, very friendly, sociable and welcoming team, team social events, mindful and supportive employer.

Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (hybrid working considered for up to 2 days per week, but would predominantly need to be office based)

The Role:

As a Paralegal, your daily tasks will be varied and engaging, including:

  • Organising daily posts and managing client documentation
  • Supporting clients with initial paperwork and estimates of legal fees
  • Liaising with management companies and external parties
  • Drafting essential property documents under the supervision of fee earners
  • Maintaining up-to-date client information and ensuring compliance with legal standards
  • Assisting with file management and completion processes
  • Strong understanding of residential property law and processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional organisational abilities with attention to detail
  • Experience with legal documentation and software applications
  • Previous experience in a paralegal role is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with SDLT returns and completion statements
  • Experience working in a busy legal environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in using databases and case management systems

Candidates should be comfortable with the following technologies:

  • Legal case management software
  • Land Registry & Infotrack
  • Document management systems
